Hours: 9am-5pm 5 over 7 days Salary: £27,000-£28,000 per annum + on call allowance

Job Description:

HRM Homecare are looking to expand our team in South Lanarkshire with a dedicated and organised Homecare Co-ordinator. As a Homecare Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the weekly rostering of support staff, taking into account flexible working patterns and continuity for service users. You will liaise with our Wellness Team to ensure that the highest standard of care services are provided for service users and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders. This role would be ideal for someone with existing experience in care scheduling, however it could be a step into the social care sector for those with administration experience. You must be well organised, solutions focussed and resilient. We look for those with an optimistic can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly computerised scheduling for allocated areas, which ensures continuity for service users and flexible working.

  • Ensure all services are delivered and any absences covered.

  • Assist with the maintenance of company quality assurance systems and encourage a positive approach to quality improvement and care.

  • Identify staff training needs to ensure that all staff have the necessary skills to care/support service users effectively.

  • You will ensure the implementation of local, national, and regional policies, procedures and guidelines pertinent to all staff within teams in pursuit of the highest standards for the delivery of service.

  • Be supportive to team members and colleagues.

    Maintain professionalism while building friendly warm relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Exceptionally organised with a genuine passion for caring for others.

  • Experience in administration and/or the care sector.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • The ability to build relationships with the wider team and external stakeholders

  • A full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle

Desirable:

  • HNC in health and social care SVQ Level 3 or working towards this.
