Celebrating Excellence: Dayna Hogarth Wins ‘Care Co-ordinator of the Year’ at the Scottish Care Awards 2025
We are absolutely delighted to share that Dayna Hogarth, one of our outstanding Care Co-ordinators at HRM Homecare, has been named ‘Care Co-ordinator of the Year’ at the Scottish Care – Care at Home & Housing Support Awards 2025.
The award ceremony took place on Friday 16th May in Glasgow, bringing together more than 300 care professionals from across the country to celebrate excellence in homecare and housing support. Hosted by Scottish Care, the national body for independent care providers in Scotland, the event highlighted the compassion, commitment, and leadership that underpin our sector.
Dayna was recognised for her unwavering dedication to delivering person-centred care, her calm and proactive approach, and the supportive relationships she builds with clients, families, and care teams. Her leadership ensures that care packages are not only well-managed but also tailored with genuine compassion and dignity.
“We are absolutely thrilled for Dayna,” said Lynn Laughland, CEO of HRM Homecare. “This award reflects her hard work, integrity, and the genuine care she brings to her role every day. Dayna is an inspiration to us all and a true ambassador for high-quality care in Scotland.”
The judging panel praised Dayna’s ability to ensure seamless, responsive care delivery rooted in respect and empathy—qualities we see from her every day.
In response to her win, Dayna shared:
“I’m incredibly honoured to receive this award. It means the world to be recognised in this way. But really, I share this with my whole team—we work together to make a difference in people’s lives, and I’m proud to be part of that.”
Now in its 19th year, the Scottish Care Awards continue to celebrate the remarkable individuals and teams who support people to live well and independently at home.

HRM Homecare are delighted to have won the Scottish Care at Home Training & Development Award for the 5th time. This accolade acknowledges our staffs hard work and dedication in ensuring that our service users receive the highest quality of care from a competent skilled workforce.
HRM Homecare are delighted that Stacey Crawford was a finalist for coordinator/administrator of the year. Learning of her nomination left Stacey speechless but proud that all of her hard work ensuring her colleagues and service users’ needs are being met had been recognised.
