We train our staff by increasing their awareness of how social work and social care services are moving forward. Our core values are underpinned by these advancements and we constantly strive to deliver a service that is built on the advancing developments between national and local governments. Strategic changes are and have been delivered throughout the social care sector to encourage work force development, we train our staff in such a way that these certain principles and standards are enforced in everything we do.
Our focus on Work Force Development will ensure that service users throughout Scotland and the UK will benefit from a safe, skilled and trusted workforce. Having our employees regulated and fully trained will give them the capacity to deliver a professional and also personalised service.

It is also essential that all of our staff, here at HRM Homecare, follow certain codes of practice outlined by the Scottish Social Services Council. These standards of conduct and practice protect the rights and promote the interests of our service user and their carers. We also train our staff to follow the aspirations of changing lives and the work coming from the programme. We encourage our team of support workers to work with our service user, we continually promote advocacy and truly believe that by empowering our service users and their carers to have a voice they, will in turn, obtain the services they need.
